3. What is character defamation?

4. Are there currently any defamation of character lawsuits going on in Spain? Give a minimum of three sentences describing the lawsuit and include a hyperlink to the article.

There are several lawsuits going on in Spain that affect the defamation of character, although they affect both persons involved in the case, for example there are laws that protect the accused; so they aren’t really strict laws.

5. What are the dangers of posting videos on Youtube, or any related site? Give a minimum of 5.

-Bad people could watch videos from yourself and know where you are from .This people could be pedifiles.

-The police could watch it and discover the person who is posting it and you could be in a big problem.

-They could change the identity and a person could impersonate.

-Somebody could kidnap you if they find you in the streets.

- Somebody could follow you and know all of your personal.

–Everyone in the world could watch you.

6. Find two newspaper reports or stories that discuss today’s dangers of internet use, such as chatting, youtube, etc. Summarize these articles in your own words and put a hyperlink at the bottom of the summary to the article.

In this pages they tell you some dangers of youtube (http://www.graciouscall.org/index.php?op=NEArticle&sid=20), which are that teen agers, see videos and music, most of the videos of your tube are harmless fun, but there also some videos of teen agers fight and other images. Chatting is also dangerous, mostly for teen agers in problematic families, because they think that there talking with people that understand them, but really they might be disturbed people that whant to damage you(http://newstranscript.gmnews.com

7. How can images damage your school’s reputation or your own? Give an example of a situation that you have seen that could have been damaging had it been put on youtube.

One report is about a Panda Software’s report on how internet is really harmfull. 8. If you wish to put something on Youtube that involves a school related project what steps must be taken?

You would have to ask for permittion to the people that are involved in this video. You would also have to ask the teachers or in this case Mr.Alex and he would have to ask the tutors from the people that are involved to see if they can post their son or daughters. You need a writen permision.

9. Do we need to protect ourselves from others only, or also from ourselves?

I think we need to protect only from others only because I care myself and I would never do something bad that would affect me. I would not need to protect myself in bad ways.

10. How can computers been found? How can the police find out that your computer was responsible for posting something illegal?

The police department has programs that can hack your computer or personal information legally.For example: If you had illegal pornography in your computer they could notice and put you in jail.

11. How can you protect yourself from stalkers or pedifiles finding you on there internet?

For examample you put something private where you know only friends and people that you know could enter, or changing the information from yourself putting for example another date of birth or change the surnames.

12. Is technology creating unforseen problems in our lives, give at least two examples in areas beyond identity theft and defamation of character, give at least two examples of other areas.

Technology maybe in the future have its own mind and could do what they want that could create problems. Also it creates problems for the children because they dont leave their houses or go outside because they are very interested in videogames or computers.Technology is creating a lot of problems in our lives really.
